Dr. Kain is the Chief Executive Officer of Jay Kain Physical Therapy,
Inc. in Western Massachusetts, specializing in Integrative Manual
Therapy. Dr. Kain holds a Ph.D. degree from Union Institute and
University in Neuromusculoskeletal Function, an M.S. degree in Biomechanics
from Springfield College and two B.S. degrees in Physical Therapy
and Physical Education from Quinnipiac University and Springfield
College respectively. Dr. Kain lectures worldwide for DCR (Dialogues in Contemporary Rehabilitation), Bloomfield, CT and nationally for Northeast Seminars, E. Hampstead, NH. He had been a 10-year corporator for the Springfield College Board of Trustees and was actively involved in the initial efforts of the Springfield College Physical Therapy Program. Additionally, Dr. Kain has been an adjunct faculty member at Russell Sage College, Troy, NY. He is currently an adjunct faculty for Westbrook University. He has co-authored numerous articles for professional publications. Dr. Kain is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, National Athletic Trainer’s Association and New England Physical Therapy Network.
As Chief Operations Officer and a founding member of the Board of Directors, Deborah's focus is on quality assurance and directing the daily operations at Jay Kain Physical Therapy. As a strong proponent of our hands-on therapy, Deborah enjoys increasing awareness of the health care options that our practice offers the community.
Lisa joined Jay Kain Physical Therapy over 21 years ago when Dr. Kain was starting out with a two-room office. She has been a part of his business as it has grown into a corporation reaching far beyond Berkshire County. From finances to human resources to HIPAA compliance, she keeps abreast of the ever-changing technology and regulations that govern the healthcare field. It is her goal to ensure that we operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible while continuing to provide quality care that goes beyond a satisfied customer.
